Leasing Program
School Lease/Purchase PlanDesigned to help school bands and orchestras obtain the necessary instruments and equipment for their programs. DeShazo Enterprises' leasing program allows you to lease any instrument or piece of equipment from any manufacturer, as well as any DeShazo product.
Why should my school lease?
- Help beat inflation by acquiring the instruments and equipment you need today while avoiding annual price increases. While a lease/purchase program is renewable each year, there can be no price increase for any item on the lease.
- Your program can continue to grow with the assurance that your carefully planned budget will remain intact.
- Needed instruments and equipment can be obtained immediately. However, your budget does not have to absorb the entire cost at one time.
Will it strain my school budget?
- Every school band and orchestra has special needs. Your lease payments can be structured to fit even the tightest of budgets over a wide range of leasing terms.
- With lease/purchasing, the school owns the instruments and the equipment at the end of the leasing period.
Full warranty with your regular dealer service.
- Each instrument and/or piece of equipment delivered to the school will have a standard limited warranty, as provided by the manufacturer. The dealer will be responsible for servicing the product as if it were a purchased instrument or piece of equipment.
Is there a minimum lease amount?
- $3,000 is the minimum lease base amount with your choice of a three-, four- or five-year lease. Your dealer can handle all of the leasing arrangements for you.
- Your school will receive one payment notice each year on the anniversary date of the lease. The first annual payment is due upon receipt of the instruments and/or equipment.
Who is responsible for insuring the instruments and equipment?
- The school, as lessee, will assume all risks for any theft, mysterious disappearance or damage to any or all of the items/equipment covered by the lease.
- Any such loss does not relieve the school of any of the terms or conditions of the contract. Maintenance, including that required during the life of the lease due to normal wear and tear, is the responsibility of the school.
- Shipping costs are included in the lease payment.
Is the lease renewable and is it legally compliant?
- The lease is annually renewable for the length of the term of the lease and is automatically renewed each year when the annual payment is made.
- Lease documentation is designed with public schools in mind and accomodates the legal requirements for most school systems.

local music dealer.
How It Works
- The music director discusses needs with the local school music dealer. The dealer will prepare a lease proposal for the music director and school officials stating the exact cost of a three-, four- or five-year lease plan to fit their school budget.
- Upon approval, a formal lease will be prepared and sent to the school for authorization signatures.
- After receipt of the signed lease, the dealer will be notified to ship or deliver the instruments and equipment to the school.
- Upon receipt of the instruments and/or equipment, school officials will sign an acceptance certificate and return it, along with the first annual payment.
- The next annual payment will be due on the anniversary of the lease.
